Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to apply for the Assistant Grade-3 post.
1. Educational Qualification
- Education: Must have passed the (10+2) examination from a recognized board OR Old Higher Secondary with First Year Graduation.
- Computer Diploma: A 1-year Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming from a recognized institution (ITI, Technical Board, or University).
- Typing Speed: Candidates must have a Hindi Typing speed of 5000 Key Depressions per hour. (A skill test will be conducted to verify this speed) .
2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years for Chhattisgarh residents.
- Age Relaxation: There is a relaxation of 5 years for local residents (making it 40 years), and up to 45 years (maximum limit) for women, SC/ST/OBC, and other special categories as per Govt rules.
Selection Process
The selection for the post of Assistant Grade-3 will be based on a Merit List and a Skill Test:
- Educational Merit (80 Marks): 80% weightage will be given to the percentage obtained in the required educational qualification.
- Skill Test (20 Marks): Eligible candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) will be called for a Computer Skill Test.
- You must score a minimum of 08 marks to qualify.
- Candidates scoring less than 10 marks (or minimum required) will be disqualified.
Final Merit: The final list will be prepared based on the total marks from Education + Skill Test.
